While this is not a review of the Oak St. location itself, on a recent family trip to Toronto, my husband purchased sandwiches from the Vancouver airport location of Max's Deli for us to eat on the plane. These were the worst sandwiches I have ever seen. Mine was wrapped so tightly it was twisted. I looked inside it to find rotting lettuce and a liquified slice of tomato. There was barely any ham and cheese, and the bun was stale and chewy. What there was was moist & gooey I would not have fed this sandwich to my dog!! As if this weren't bad enough, the robbers charged us $7.99 x 4 sandwiches!! Take my advice do not get your food (sandwiches) from Max's Deli @ YVR if you are travelling on a plane and need food. Go to Subway, but I don't think they are available after you go through airport security. Or, pay the airline for a fresh Quiznos Sandwich instead. I wish we had!
